'Cover-and-move' is a notable and effective tactic of America's military units, recognising that manoeuvrability can be a matter of life and death on the battlefield. After all, the enemy is always seeking to move to be against and overcome us, so staying in one place, becoming complacent, only grants the enemy more opportunities to do so. In a Christian context, the Bible likewise warns us to not be slack but rather to earnest grow. But just how do we do this? One may hear various practices without or even within the church, but what does the Scripture say? Surely if this is so important, God would have instructed us in His word.
