Yaya and Monie are finally back! To kick off this episode, the ladies check in with life updates before chatting about which classes they wish they had as students during The Icebreaker. In Suite 223, Monie recites a poem by Langston Hughes entitled “A Dream Deferred,” which prompts a conversation about how to keep our dreams alive. Yaya and Monie then head over to The Classroom to sip coffee with Kristen Holmes, a teacher, and entrepreneur who loves the kids, while discussing her experience as an educator and what it took for her to get to where she is now. Kristen joins Yaya and Monie for their Dorm Story segment, where the ladies share which teachers or mentors had the greatest impact on them.
