Listen "The Invisible Work of Parenting"
Episode Synopsis
Parenting is a lot of work, and it’s not something that can always be documented on social media (probably for the best). Between the noise, the mess, and the moments that never make it to the camera roll, there’s a whole side of family life that most people never see.Even our friends and family only catch small glimpses of what our days actually look like — the laughter, the chaos, and the constant juggling act of raising five kids under five.In this week’s episode, I wanted to slow things down and give you a small peek into our world — what a typical day looks like for us, how we try to keep things running smoothly, and how we’re learning to find balance in all of it. This isn’t a “how-to” or a perfect routine, it’s just our real life — what mornings sound like, what evenings feel like, and everything in between.Eventually, I’ll share more about how we handle the different stages each of our kids are in, but for now, this is a quick rundown of what an average day in the Hernandez house really looks like.If you’re a parent listening, I’d love to hear what your routine looks like too. How do you balance the chaos, the schedules, and the emotions that come with raising little ones?Advertisement:This episode is brought to you by my new children’s book, Logito! It’s a bilingual rhyming adventure inspired by my son, Logan, created to help introduce kids to Spanish words and New Mexican culture. I’m currently raising funds on Kickstarter to bulk print copies and donate them to schools, libraries, and youth programs in Pueblo, Colorado, and New Mexico. If you’d like to learn more or have books donated in your name, check out the link here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/logitos/logitoI'd love to hear your parenting experiences!
