This beautiful woman, Betty LaFontaine, is the type of woman I truly want to emulate. She has grace, strength, and love. She's been through a lot in her life and has seemed to pick the roses from out of the thorns. Some people have the gift of truly looking into another's heart and knowing them, and I feel like that is one of Betty's gifts. Her testimony of the Book of Mormon, and especially of the Savior Jesus Christ, have given her the firm foundation that is sometimes required to get through hard things. And she also just knows when a smile is all that's needed. I hope as you listen to her recount only a small portion of the journey she's been on that you'll be better able to see the beauty as you walk through your own life.
