These techniques and devices offer a new therapeutic option for the patient with significant non-compressible truncal hemorrhage, and can serve as a resuscitative bridge to provide additional time to get the patient to the operating room or angiography suite. Dr. Moore and Dr. Benjamin share their experience and insights as two early adopters of REBOA at their Level 1 trauma centers.
