Listen ""Normal" bloke gets Marathon des Sables top 200 finish on 2 training runs a week! (Find out how)"
Episode Synopsis
Can you believe Lloyd Watkin Patreon Lloyd Watkins came around 170th in the Marathon des Sables 2023 on just 2 training runs a week! Ok so he also did a tonne of hiking with his dog and a heavy pack on, plus lots of heat training (find out what a heat suit is, and Lloyds top 3 tips in this broadcast!) but only 2 runs a week - that's so doable isn't it! He made the MdS sound super amazing too, I've never wanted to run it before, but if they offered me a media place now I'd say yes!Originally on YouTube here https://youtube.com/live/4kXLKPrzZf8Thanks so much to Lloyd for this chat, sorry about the sound I'm not the techiest person so didn't know how to make it better. Hopefully it is still a useful chat as Lloyd gave tonnes of fantastic advice from his experience and made us all want to do MdS! It sounds hot and beautiful. My book, The Ultimate Trail Running Handbook https://amzn.to/3jgKvTyPlease like and subscribe here on YouTube https://linktr.ee/ClaireWGRFollow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/wildgingerrunning/Support me on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/WildGingerRunningMeet me at Nene Valley trail races https://nenevalleyraces.wordpress.com/ Hosted on Acast.
