Over the weekend, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) pretty much brought the Administration's "Build Back Better" bill to a grinding halt. Manchin said he couldn't justify the increase in spending in the face of continued inflation and fiscal imbalances. Not surprisingly, people on both sides of the political aisle were agog.
