Tyler James Williams is a star on Abbott Elementary and he’s now Emmy nominated but he first blew up years ago on Everybody Hates Chris playing young Chris Rock. He’s a great comedic actor and a deep introvert and a very thoughtful person who loves to be alone with a book. We talk about acting and getting out of the child star trap and what it was like to have his father, a police officer, put him in handcuffs just so he’d know what it’s like.
