A/Prof Adrienne O'Neil is a behavioural scientist who is researching how targeting lifestyle can help in the treatment of mental illness. She is Deputy Director of Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University. She has 116 scientific publications published in top ranked journals (e.g Lancet, Circulation), $9 mil in grant funding and an international post-doctoral Fellowship at Stanford University. She has a 15-year track record of generating impactful research that has advanced lifestyle-based care spanning diabetes prevention, cardiovascular disease management and mental disorder treatment. Her 5-year vision is to now build on my previous discoveries to generate evidence that ensures its translation into real-world settings.
