Listen "Parasha Shoftim: Deut 16:18-21:9"
Episode Synopsis
In this weeks parasha, we get into "shoftim" the Hebrew word for "judges", and discuss the criteria for judges. One of the most interesting points about this parasha is that when discussing these judges, they are commanded to not be biased when judging, but rather call right right and wrong wrong, regardless of who the people are. In the case where the matter is to difficult, the people are commanded to go before the priests, who stand before YHVH, seeing as the stand before Him daily, their ruling is solid, seeing as these people are the epitome of integrity.Send us a text
