Far too many people leave it up to their memory to keep in control of what they need to do. For a long time (since 1978),  Charles has used a written diary and, over recent years, has integrated to some degree with a web-based calendar. He still can't get the full benefit of going electronic as one of the main benefits he gets from a handwritten diary is that any task Charles doesn't complete, he transfers to the next day – re-writing and reinforcing the diary entry. It's also nice to have a hard copy of years of diaries that you can reflect upon. In this episode, he recalls a diary meeting with a team member that had an interesting booking.
