Listen "June 14th in Elvis History"
Episode Synopsis
It’s June fourteenth, and on this day in 1963… Priscilla Ann Beaulieu graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Though Elvis chose not to attend the ceremony to avoid creating a scene, he marked the occasion by gifting Priscilla a red rear-engine Chevrolet Corvair. Following her graduation, she enrolled at the Patricia Stevens finishing school and took up modeling under a pseudonym at the Picadilly Cafeteria near Graceland. She also studied dance at the Jo Haynes School of Dance—an address that would one day become known as Elvis Presley Boulevard.
