Listen "#171 Heated Torpedoes"
Episode Synopsis
Why would you need to heat a torpedo? Well think about spreading butter on toast. Using a heated knife allows for easier spreading and less damage to the toast. Applying that literally to torpedoes would imply we can more easily spread the explosive along the hull of the ship and thereby damage it less. I may have missed the point of this topic as I was filling in a risk assessment while doing so.
