The German retailer operates a network of more than 4,000 discount stores in 11 European countries 
2010 - HUGE crowds and thousands of cheering supporters were expected to line the streets of Thurles for the inaugural Tipperary Mini Marathon, the largest athletics event of its kind to take place in the Premier County. Women from all over Tipperary, but especially Thurles and its hinterland, would join in and generously donate their time and effort.
