Episode Synopsis
The disciples deserted Christ because they weren’t sure he was who he said he was. After he rose, they endured pain and suffering and ultimately death for him, because they knew he was who he said he was. They could have deserted him even after knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that he rose (even though it proved he was who he said he was), but they could never trust a dead savior, because they know a dead man can save no one. Reason dictates what we ought to do. The heart decides to do it or not.
