Focus: Developing curriculum to help students with their mental health, how to positively impact mental health in the classroom. What can we do differently to impact mental health through curriculum.
Key Takeaway:
The pandemic only sped up the idea that traditional education needs to change. Also, student relationships with technology are not healthy and tend to be a one way affair. Teachers are burnt out and teacher candidates are few and far between. What if there was a way to make real change; to shift the focus of learning from teachers to students, to give them the skills that they really need throughout school and when they graduate, and what if we could refocus student use of technology and shift it from consumer to creator?
