Listen "005: Planning Tomorrow Today"
Episode Synopsis
How many decisions do you make in a day? And how easy is it to make a good decision at the end of a busy day? We make countless decisions in our daily lives that we don’t even realize we’re doing.
In this episode, we talk about making decisions ahead of time by activating the prefrontal cortex of your brain, the part responsible for logical reasoning and decision making, rather than your primitive brain, which wants what it wants in the moment. Planning what you eat the night before results in less stress, more freedom, and helps prevent decision fatigue.
After this episode, you’ll be able to:
Practice delayed gratification to improve your relationship with food
Make realistic plans that you can actually stick to
Build self-trust by committing to your decisions and following through
