THOMASVILLE — United Way of Southwest Alabama partnered with Westervelt Lumber and the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Alabama to distribute food to the community on Dec. 12. Families were eligible to receive a box of food with a valid driver’s license or identification. Food boxes distributed during the event at the Boys & Girls Club parking lot included frozen chicken drumsticks, frozen fish sticks, carrots, onions, apples, sweet potatoes, small potatoes, dry beans, canned goods and cabbage.
