Isaac "Ike" Blackmore grew up in Austin, Texas. After visiting Texas A&M University and falling in love with the Corps, he decided to enroll and enlisted with the National Guard. Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the Army as an infantry officer. Following his initial assignment in Alaska, he became an officer in the 75th Ranger Regiment and led a Ranger platoon through two deployments in Afghanistan. The initial recipient of the Warrior National Foundation Scholarship dedicated to special operations veterans, he enrolled at the University of Texas in a dual-degree MBA/JD program. Ike currently lives in Austin, Texas.
