Juneteenth and Founders Day Celebration

Location: Carver Center grounds, off Kell Street
Time: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Activities: Food, drinks, and games
Note: This event was postponed from the previous Saturday due to wet grounds.


Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange

Location: Victoria Mall
Time: 9:30 AM
Note: Occurs every third Saturday of the month; you don’t have to bring anything to take something.


Texas Zoo Zoodlers and Crafts

Location: Texas Zoo
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Activities: Features a different program and allows visits to the animals (Also occurs on Wednesdays).


Museum of the Coastal Bend Family Discovery Saturdays

Location: Museum of the Coastal Bend
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Activities: Includes story time with the Victoria Public Library.


Benefit for Sergio Sepa

Victoria, Texas Art Walk

Location: Victoria Mall (indoors)

Princess Tea Party

Put on by: Inabundance
Location: Power Avenue Warehouse

Activities: A “royal experience” with lunch, a meet and greet, and performances with princesses.


Chess Club Meeting

Location: Victoria Public Library

Dogs in the Park

Location: The dog park at Riverside Park
Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Activities: Services for dogs including grooming, nail trimming, and filing.


Experimental Cinema Club

Location: Victoria Public Library

Activities: Involves checking out experimental films and videos.


Rustic Ranch Fundraiser

Location: Across the river bridge, out to the Golad Highway
Activities: Includes pork steak for $12, a bake sale, a raffle, and a DJ
Purpose: Benefit for the building.


LoFi Latte Event

Location: The Greenhouse Coffee and Espresso Bar at Laurent Towers (Victoria Towers)
Time: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Activities: Features DJ Rose and vendors.



Sunday

Loco Wrestling and Lucha Pro Main Event Matches

Location: Rustic Ranch
Doors Open: 4:00 PM
“Bell Time”: 5:00 PM



Monday

VC (Victoria College) Kids College

Location: Victoria Emergency Technology Complex
Description: Another round of various camps starting.

Description: The Generals are playing well and are in action every week through June and July.

Description: Several area teams have new coaches.


Seven on Seven Tournaments

Description: The college held a track and field event where a kid from Goliad performed well.

Upcoming Events & Special Announcements:

TLSN Legends Golf Classic: This golf tournament, which supports people in UT athletics who may be facing hard times, will be held on Sunday, September 15th, at Great Hills Country Club in Austin, Texas.

Registration begins at 11:00 AM, with tee time around noon, and an awards ceremony at 6:00 PM.
Every team will have the opportunity to play with a UT sports legend, including basketball, football, tennis players, and coaches like Rudy Tomjanovich.
It is open to fans, friends, alumni, business leaders, and golf enthusiasts, especially those with an interest in UT athletics.
Participants can expect a premium course experience, awards, prizes, exclusive photo opportunities, food, and drinks.
