Listen "18: Big Spoon vs. Little Spoon - Parenting in a Neurodivergent House"

Episode Synopsis

As GenXers we all know the song, Our House by Madness. I wonder if there was any neurodiversity in that household. Seeing as how a lot of creatives are on some sort of ADHD and/or autism spectrum, probably so! In this episode we explore what size spoons tend to get used the most, parenting, pinballs, buzzers and lights, "The car leaves at 7:30!", repair after dysregulation, and many more experiences that come from living in a neurodivergent house.
This Is How My Brain WorksWe’re a group of GenXers who learned about our ADHD and neurodiversity later in life. Join us as we discuss interesting clips we find online and how they relate to our own life experiences.
Hosts: Krista Gano, Sarah Hines, Jason Rudofsky and Michael Collins
Please note: While we are advocates for for mental health awareness, we are not mental health professionals. The purpose of our podcast is to help other neurodiverse people by sharing our own experiences, as well as tools and resources we have found valuable to us.
