If you are a property owner in Nova Scotia, you should have received your 2022 Property Assessment Notice in the mail by now. And there's also a pretty good chance, that number is higher than it was a year ago. On average, housing prices were up 10.3 percent last year. And assessments are up an average of 10.8 percent. There are a lot of factors that go into coming up with that number and in 2021, almost six-thousand appeals were filed. What should you consider if you are thinking of appealing that number?
