Lea Sullivan, Waxahachie High School ASL (American Sign Language) Teacher, is an inspiration for not only her students but also anyone who is blessed to know her.  Being profoundly deaf hasn't stopped her from conquering her fears and living life to the fullest for herself and her family.  As we compare stories of both her life with deafness and my mother's, we recognize that everyone is unique, but some share an extraordinary bond.  I will love listening to her precious voice over and over in the days and years to come.
