Dr. OP Yadava is the C.E.O and Chief Cardiac Surgeon, at the National Heart Institute, New Delhi. He has completed over 12,000 open-heart surgical procedures.
He completed his medical graduation and MS (Surgery) from Maulana Azad Medical College. He joined the Armed Forces as a Surgical Specialist.
He cleared his DNB Examination in General Surgery in 1983 and completed his training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cardio-Thoracic Center, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 1985.
He then pursued advanced training in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Melbourne, Australia.
He is a specialist in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgery. He has successfully cleared the National Boards in Cardiothoracic Surgery (DNBE).
He became a Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) in 1994, FICC in 2003, FIACS in 2005, and FCSI in 2012.
