I am reminded of a time when my youngest, Gabriel was resisting to obey me. God taught me a valuable lesson through my son's defiance.
It was during his birthday weekend, and Gabriel got more than what he could ask, think, or imagine. You would think for someone who has more than enough, and who is ever so, so, happy.. you would assume he would be slightly more willing to help, rather than be defiant.
God pointed out something addressed to me as well, in the very moment I was scolding my son.
Later, I come to realize that there is freedom in obedience.
My freedom isn't just for me, its for others to benefit from as well.
