Lauren Muir with Martin & Muir Counseling speaks about her personal mental health struggles with anxiety. She opens up about how she had to let down her guard and set aside her pride in order to seek out help. Lauren shares some useful and simple ways one can search for a therapist and we also learn about why Lauren started her own private practice with business partner Renesha Martin. Lauren's passion is working for the children and families within the lower income communities of Louisville as well as our school systems. She currently helps educate teachers on mental health, in hopes to help make a positive impact on mental healthcare within the school systems.
