He was a member of the team in 2016-2017 and he looks back on that period as the best years of his career. During that two-year spell, Dan Martin hit new heights, finishing on the podium at some of the most prestigious races in the world – Flèche Wallonne, Liège–Bastogne–Liège, Paris-Nice, Volta a Catalunya, and the Critérium du Dauphiné – as well as taking his best result ever at the Tour de France, sixth overall.

Ahead of the Ardennes Classics, we caught up with Dan for a chat about his time with the Wolfpack, the many friendship relationships forged back then that have stood the test of time, the best moments of his career, his take on what makes the Mur de Huy so special and the route changes of “La Doyenne”, and answering the question that the world needs answering: Who would win between a Panda and a Wolf!
