From the classroom to the chaotic sprint finishes of the pre peloton, Tim Merlier and Bert Van Lerberghe have been friends for over 20 years.

Since meeting in school, the pair have built an enduring bond that has seen them grow on to a formidable leadout man/sprinter partnership, with the pair having an understanding that allows them to navigate the cycling's hectic lunges for the finish line.
