This week, we went back to Three Weeks with My Brother by Nicholas and Micah Sparks—a book remembered loving when it first came out. But rereading it now… it just didn’t land the same way. We talk about why that might be—how our perspectives have changed and what that says about where we are in life. We also get into what a childhood like the Sparks most likely shapes into as adults. How emotional neglect registers the same as physical abuse and what that looks like as an adult. We discuss the ACE score and personal struggles of our own.
