What is Baptism really all about? Is it "a public profession of your faith"? Maybe it's a form of blessing? When we look through the scriptures, we can piece together the act of Baptism which looks a lot like a wedding: it's a physical act which represents (and helps us remember) the spiritual change we underwent in our hearts. Despite the fact that we are told to "be baptized", many treat this command as somehow different from other commands. We should stop to reflect on the importance of our baptism so we don't miss out on this blessing that God provides us as a way to physically connect with something God did divinely in our hearts.
