Listen "Romans 7:1-12"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textPaul has firmly established the amazing fact that we have been justified freely, without cause, by God's grace alone and now have complete redemption in Christ Jesus. In the previous chapter he began the transition into the sanctified life of the believer. Knowing that we have been marvelously justified in Christ must impact the way we live for Christ. The sanctified life should be a life of victory for every true follower of Jesus. In our previous chapter Paul showed us that not being under the law but under grace does not give us the license to live as we please. We are not free to live in habitual sin or occasional sin. We have died with Christ to sin. We have risen to newness of life in Christ. We now begin to look at the other side of the coin. We were not justified by keeping the law therefore we cannot be sanctified by keeping the law. We have died to sin; we have died to the law. The victorious Christian life that we have all been called to, must be lived according to grace, not according to the law.Contact Paul at [email protected] Sunday May 5th, we have changed locations and will meet on Sundays at 10 am.
