It is a deal that has the favor of God written all over it. Through this deal God brings great prosperity to Jacob.In the process of Jacob growing in wealth, Laban is losing wealth. This creates an uncomfortable situation as Laban and his sons grow envious of Jacob. The atmosphere grows so bad that Jacob now must leave.Jacob is leaving the classroom of Laban; however, he is still in the school of faith.
