COVID-19 has been dominating the news lately. According to the CDC, the virus that causes COVID-19 likely originated in an animal and spread to humans. What you probably don't know is that University of Idaho professor Scott Nuismer and the students in his lab are working on creating transmissible vaccines for animals which could help stop this type of pandemic from ever happening!
