Our conversation today with Linda Tyler from 2 for 2 Foundation focused on their new organization and it's goal of bringing an ice rink and swimming facility to the area. Linda explained why these facilities are needed and who would benefit most from having them in our community. We talked about the fundraising that will be required and the huge need for volunteers with a wide range of skill sets. Linda told us about their mission to break/set two new Guinness World Records: Largest Human Ice Cream Cone record consists of 478 participants and was achieved by Nestlé (China) Ltd. Ice Cream Business Unit (China) in Qingdao, Shandong, China, on December 18, 2019. Largest Ice Cream Sandwich is 2,960 lb. and was achieved by Hy-Vee Inc. (USA) in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, USA, on October 22, 2021. The ice cream sandwich consisted of chocolate chip cookie biscuits sandwiching vanilla ice cream.
