We’ve had a fantastic chat with Aussie ex-pat Bryce Seales on the V8 Sleuth Podcast powered by Castrol.
A veteran of the Australian and United States racing scenes, Seales has been on staff at NASCAR Cup Series squad Trackhouse Racing for several years. He very generously interrupted a holiday back at home to drop into V8 Sleuth headquarters to tell a few stories, and we’re releasing the last two parts of our chat this week.
In Part 4, Seales shares more stories from his time with the Holden Racing Team and Walkinshaw Racing, including his take on why the team hit a rough patch in the 2010s, and the special career milestone he was able to achieve with the Perkins family in 2015.
He also discusses the reasons behind his return to the United States in the mid-2010s - and hails an important topic brought up by his former HRT teammate Scott Sinclair during his visit to the V8 Sleuth pod last year - and his years with Chip Ganassi’s NASCAR team.
