Robert Drysdale is a retired mixed martial artist, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) world champion and coach.Robert is perhaps most famous for his historic victory over the legendary Marcelo Garcia in 2007 ADCC, a match in which he famously tapped out Garcia, cementing his status as one of the top grapplers of his generation. Marcelo Garcia, a multiple-time BJJ World Champion, had been considered nearly untouchable at the time, which made Drysdale’s victory all the more impressive and a defining moment in his career.In addition to his success on the mat, Robert transitioned into a successful career in mixed martial arts (MMA), competing in various organizations such as the UFC, and building a reputation for his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-based fighting style.
