KING Charter is striving to be the first plant-based public school in the USA and possibly the world. KING board members believe that all children deserve a right to proper education and nutrition and not just children of economically successful parents. KINGs curriculum will be taught in a trilingual immersion environment in English, Spanish and Mandarin and also incorporate more movement than the average public school both through recess, PE and creative classes that promote additional movement. KING will strive to provide a school that allows children to spend more time outside and in the garden. What is so unique about the charter school model, is that once you have one application approved, you essentially have the application for every county in the state of Florida.
