Listen "Episode 027 - I Spent HOW Much On Cancelled Classes?"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I’m diving into the reality of being too busy and how it affected my journey with weight loss. I’m currently in the middle of some exciting changes and I’m feeling the pressure of everything that’s going on, but this isn't the first time I’ve found myself caught up in the chaos.I take you back to a phase in my life when I had just left a high-stress job and thought, "This is it. This is the time I’ll finally have the balance to focus on my health." I joined a gym, started tracking my calories, and got all set to lose weight. But every time I tried to stick to the plan, something would throw me off: last-minute meetings, cancelled classes, delayed trains, and more.It felt like no matter how hard I tried to stick to a perfect routine, life—and work—always had to take priority. Weight loss became this distant goal that was just out of reach. But eventually, I had a breakthrough. I realized I couldn’t keep fighting against the chaos; I had to start working with it. By adjusting my routine to fit my real-life schedule, I found consistency. I began prioritizing workouts before work, using weekends for meal prep, and making food simple and manageable. This approach has allowed me to lose weight and keep it off, even with a busy lifestyle.I share how this shift in mindset not only helped me reach my goals but also keeps me moving forward today. Now, I focus on setting myself up to win by working with the chaos instead of fighting it.
