Vinicius Magalhães, better known as Vinicius Magalhaes or by his nickname Draculino, is a sixth degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt from Brazil. Vinicius Magalhaes has competed at a high level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as Judo, Muay Thai and even in Professional Mixed Martial Arts.
Vinicius Magalhaes first got his nickname, “Draculino” from a math teacher that he had in elementary school. The word Draculino means “little Dracula” in Portuguese and Vinicius Magalhaes’ teacher gave him the name because he always looked sombre as a young boy.
Vinicius Magalhaes’ first introduction to martial arts was when he started to train in Judo at the young age of 7 years old. Eventually, Vinicius Magalhaes would earn his orange belt in Judo. However years later, sometime in either 1984 or 1985, Vinicius Magalhaes would discover Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
