When Emma first partnered with her standardbred Milo, he was standoffish and would walk away from her. As part of an 18-month journey, which Emma has shared within our Online Standarddred Club group spaces, Emma has focused on connection-building and groundwork with Milo, which has allowed them to build a beautiful bond and share some wonderful experiences together.  This is a great chat, between Raising the Standards Founder Nic Tassone and Emma, for anyone who's at the beginning of their standardbred journey, wanting a better relationship with their standardbred, or generally just interested to hear an honest, real-life, behind-the-scenes recount of the first couple of years partnering with a green standardbred.
