He worked for 25 years in three universities in Melbourne, Australia: the University of Melbourne (1989-1999), Monash University (1999-2005), and Swinburne University of Technology (2005-2016). Dr Angela Lehmann Angela has had a rich and varied career in research, policy and analysis in Australia, China and the UK. Angela has been a lecturer in Sociology at the ANU, and an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University China, and holds adjunct and honorary appointments at each. She is a China expert, and worked as international policy analyst at Universities Australia in 2017 and 2018. She has worked as a researcher at Matrix Evidence in London, developing policy analysis for the British government. And she has been Leader, Major Research Projects at the Regional Australia Institute.
