Critical Conversations is the new student-led journal at the School of Social Welfare. The mission of the journal is to further the accomplishments of students in the School of Social Welfare by sharing knowledge and ideas cultivated by those in the BSW, MSW and PhD programs. The first issue will be released on March 13th as part of the school’s celebration of Social Work Month.
The editorial team sat down with 'The Social Workers Radio Talk Show' to discuss how this journal came to be, the process to make this idea a reality, and what we can expect in the first issue. The team includes PhD students: Amanda Aykanian, Nurul Widyaningrum, Catherine Kramer, Andrea Onstot, Dewi Kartikawatiningsih and Kirsten DiNicola.
