Episode Synopsis

In this week's Podcast, our quote of the week is from economist Thomas Sowell on how the success of others has gone from being admired to something that is hated.
In our stupidest thing I've heard all week segment, we'll tell you what OBJECT the press is blaming for a recent act of terror instead of the person who used it.
We'll tell you about the newest (and most disgusting) way Luigi Mangione's supporters glorify him.
In our science minute, we have two stories.
We'll tell you why the lab notes of one Nobel Prize winner must be kept in a lead-lined box, and in our other story, we'll let you know why you should never reheat food in a plastic container.
We'll tell you what the network news stations didn't initially tell you about the identity of a man accused of killing a woman on a New York City subway by setting her on fire and ask why they didn't include that piece of information when they initially reported on that story.
We'll tell you about another horrific story concerning the sexual abuse of their two adopted children by a gay couple that the networks chose not to cover, and again, ask why you never heard about that story.
We'll tell you how network news reporting has altered the perception of the number of "Unarmed black men killed by police" in a year. The actual number is probably much smaller than you have been led to believe.
We'll tell you how the number of your elected representatives in Congress aged 70 or older has risen dramatically over the past 40 years. It is probably a number way higher than you would have guessed!
Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from the Philadelphia suburb of Upper Darby, PA, where a young thug armed with a fake gun makes the mistake of trying to rob a victim who has a real gun.
We are still struggling with internet connectivity issues, so I apologize for any dropouts of Podcast today.
