Sometimes we walk away from God and knowingly dive into sin; Other times, we are stuck in an addiction that we cannot control. How do we overcome these things? Do Christians have different standards? Can we out sin God's grace? In Jer. 51:1-5 we see the two sides of God - Vengeful & Loving all in one . . .He talks of whipping up a death-dealing hurricane to clean up Babylon, declaring it will be littered with streets of corpses and total destruction . .. . Then, in verse 5 says: As their God, God -of-the-Angel-Armies, I am still alive and well, committed to them even though They filled their land with sin against Israel’s most Holy God.Even though they have stopped following God, He warns them to run for their lives to save them from His vengeance for their sins.
