Brandon Jones is the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health Executive Director. He joins Sheletta to talk about talking to children about the tragedy we experienced as a community last week with the Annunciation Catholic School mass shooting.

Brandon runs through nuanced approaches for children of different ages to meet them where they’re at in a way that they can understand. Sheletta mentions that she’s noticed a mass exodus of people working as counselors. She and Brandon then talk about how we can better help those who help support our children and their emotional well being.
