Monday ExtraThis week my motivation for putting pen to paper, and switching on the recording equipment has been different and a bit unusual. I was listening to an audiobook - a reading of a novel! I had been driving down to Belfast in the car, listening to a book, when one of the characters mentioned a particular artist, Tom Waite, and it brought back memories of a song that the artist had performed, back in the 1990s. It was a song called’ “Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet” and it has an interesting story, and if you give me a few minutes.
