AS Roma named José Mourinho as the club's new manager ahead of the 2021/22 season - to mixed reviews.

The Giallorossi have begun the season in excellent form, however, with six wins from their first six in all competitions, spearheaded by soon-to-be 24-year-old English striker Tammy Abraham.

Nicolò Zaniolo was sent off in his first game under Mourinho, but is staging a comeback after two successive cruciate knee ligament injuries. Meanwhile, the highly controversial manager has already blooded a handful of young players from Roma's successful Primavera (U-19) side this year.

Trophies are on the menu at the Olimpico, but it'll be box office, if nothing else.
