The points in QROT-07 were well enough made, but I, in cautious thinking during that episode, overstated a "no more than" time period. I said up to two calendar years. But in actuality, we had months to compare to, so it is instead 13 or 14 months.
(How long after the ban of Gain of Function that they PUBLISHED a study on gain of function. Proving more fully they seem to have not let President Obama's ban on such research give them pause for even a DAY, as they instead farmed it out to foreign labs)
