Listen "Better supporting young station workers"
Episode Synopsis
A new mentorship program is helping station workers cope with the challenges of life on remote properties. The Kelpie Concept connects workers across Australia with mentors who understand the pressures of long days and isolation. Many of those starting work on stations have just finished school, and for some it is the first time they are away from their families. Rural Reporter Toby Gough spoke with Kelpie Concept founder Bebe Manns about the program.
