Chris Maxwell-Gaines is a professional engineer and owner of Innovative Water Solutions LLC.   IWS is a full-service design / build company passionately committed to providing comprehensive, sustainable, and absolute water management and conservation solutions, utilizing alternative water sources and stormwater management for residential and commercial projects.  IWS focuses on systems such as rainwater collection, graywater reuse, stormwater management, and green infrastructure.  To date, IWS has installed nearly 10,000,000 gallons of rainwater storage capacity across the state of Texas.
 
In the past, Mr. Maxwell-Gaines has served as the President of the Texas Rainwater Catchment Association and on the Graywater Advisory Council for the City of Austin.
 
Currently, Mr. Maxwell-Gaines serves on the Board of Directors for the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA) and on the Water & Wastewater Commission for the City of Austin.
